摘要
数学素养已经受到国际教育界的广泛关注。本研究基于PISA研究的框架,考虑题目所覆盖的知识内容、思维水平和情境三个维度,从已经筛选过的106道题的数学素养题库中选出38道题,分别对英国里丁中学和北京某重点中学的8年级学生进行测试,并对数据进行统计分析。结果表明:中国学生在空间与图形、统计与概率部分得分高于英国学生,英国学生在数与代数部分得分略高于中国学生。通过对7名英国被试学生和2名中国教师的访谈,试图揭示中英学生数学素养差异的原因,并提出对两国数学教育的几点启示。
Mathematical literacy is one of the worldwide key issues. Based on PISA framework, 38 items were selected from 106 items in term of three aspects: knowledge, thinking and context. Year 8 UK students and Chinese students were tested. Based on statistical analysis, the result shows: Chinese students' score in the content of shape and space were higher than that of British students as well as the content of statistics and probability. While British students' score in the content of number and algebra was higher than that of Chinese students. The reasons of difference were revealed in term of literature as well as interviews for seven UK students and two Chinese teachers. Several enlightenments for Chinese and UK mathematics education were addressed at the end of the article.
