系统功能语言学个体化研究的动因及哲学指导思想 被引量：22

The study of individuation in SFL:Motivation and philosophy

摘要 近10年来,J.R.马丁力图突出个体化研究的重要性,把系统功能语言学对语言使用的关注进一步转向语言使用者,研究社会个体如何使用话语社团所共有的表义资源,并体现个人的特点,从而完成个体身份的建构。这个转向是历来主张从社会文化角度研究语言的系统功能语言学坚持人本主义的一个新标志。本研究将首先解释什么叫个体化,然后分析系统功能语言学重视个体化研究的动因,马丁对个体化作了哪些研究,并探讨个体化研究背后的人本主义哲学思想。 In the past ten years,J.R.Martin has been trying to highlight the importance of individuation and attempting to shift systemic functional(SF) linguists' attention from language use to language user and find out how individual language users construct their persona by adding their own features to the meaning resources shared by their speech community.This change marks SFL's further adherence to humanism.This paper addresses the following issues:1) what is individuation? 2) why does Martin bring it into the theoretical framework of SFL? 3) what contribution has Martin made to the study of individuation? 4) what is the guiding philosophy of the study of individuation? Finally,limitations of the current study of individuation are touched upon and the topics for further research are suggested.
