语言表征的感知基础——心智哲学视角

Perceptual basis for language representation:A perspective from philosophy of mind

心智哲学家大多奉行认知的"涉身体验"观,主张语言使用建立在人的感知觉体验经验基础上,语言活动是心智活动的反映。本文基于对认知心理学中的"感知符号系统"理论的观察与理解,运用心智哲学相关理论阐释语言表征的感知基础,认为语言的意义构建及理解依赖感知经验,是多模态感知与感知信息加工的结果。

Most philosophers of mind advocate the cognitive view of embodied experience,which proposes that the language application is based on the perceptual and embodied experience of human beings,and that the language activity is the reflection of mental activities.Based on the observation on the perceptual symbol system in cognitive psychology,this paper explores the perceptual basis for language representation from a perspective of philosophy of mind,with the view that the construction and understanding of language meanings depend on the perceptual and embodied experience of human being,and that the natural language is the production from both multimodal perception and perceptual experience processing.
