合作原则和礼貌原则是人们语言交际中需要遵守的语用原则。合作原则可以使人们的言语交际顺利进行。礼貌原则则解释了人们为什么在说话的时候,有时会故意违反合作原则。合作原则在会话中起着调节说话人内容的作用,它使说话人在假设对方乐于合作的前提下才能进行交际。但礼貌原则具有更高一层的调节作用,它维护了交谈双方的均等地位和他们之间的友好关系。本文分为三部分,论述了合作原则和礼貌原则,以及它们在人们言语交际中的应用。第一部分论述了合作原则和礼貌原则的基本理论;第二部分论述了合作原则和礼貌原则在言语交际中的运用;第三部分总结概述了合作原则和礼貌原则在人们言语交际中的应用。为使语言顺利进行,促进交流,灵活与得体地运用这两个会话原则是十分重要的。

Cooperation principle and Politeness principle are pragmatic principles, which people need to comply with in language communication. Cooperation principle can make people＇s verbal communication smooth. The Politeness principle can explain why people, sometimes deliberately violates the principle of cooperation. Cooperation principle plays an important role in conversation to adjust the function of speech content, it makes the speaker assume that the other party as cooperative premise. However, the Politeness principle has a higher layer to adjust action, it maintained the both sides of the equal status in the friendly relationship between them. This article is divided into three parts. The first part discusses the basic theory of the Cooperation principle and Politeness principle; the second part discusses the Cooperation principle and Politeness principle in speech communication; the third part summarizes an overview of the Cooperation principle and Politeness principle in people＇s verbal communication. In order to make the use of language smoothly , it is important to use the two principles in a flexible way and appropriately.
