摘要
本研究基于一项大型问卷调查及35例深度访谈,考察改革背景下大学英语教师职业发展的现状以及大学英语教学改革对其产生的影响。研究结果表明,教师职业发展存在着水平低、投入少、机会少、困难多等不利现状;大学英语教学改革给教师职业发展带来了机遇,但也带来了巨大的挑战;教师职业发展受到外部环境因素和个人因素的交互作用,环境因素包括组织要求的提升和组织支持体系的欠缺,个人因素包括教师对改革的认同不足和专业素养偏低。
This study probed into the influences education reforms have made in college English teachers' professional development through a questionnaire survey and 35 interviews. The findings showed that teachers' professional development was disadvantaged in professional devotion and opportunities. Reforms brought both challenges and opportunities. Teachers' professional development was affected by both environmental factors, like enhancement of organizational requirements and lack of organizational support, and personal factors like insufficient reform identification and professional capacities.
