In Toni Morrison＇ s novel Tar Baby, she explores the aspiration of home through the migration narrative. She once acclaimed ＂matters of race and matters of home are priorities in my work＂. Therefore, through the symbolic movements of migration, she investigates the Black ＇ s loss of home and the difficulties of home founding in the modern society.
