将泰山狮雕艺术与西方著名文化遗址中的狮雕艺术进行横向比较,是解析中西狮雕文化内涵及造型特点差异的最直观最有效的方法。纵观中西颇具代表性的狮雕作品,尽管有许多共同的艺术特征,但由于历史与文化背景的不同,又各自表现出众多风格差异。中国狮雕艺术凸显以下几个特点:造型形象逐步趋向程式化、象征涵义更加世俗功利化、设置摆放追求对称和谐美。

Making a comparison between Taishan lion carving and the lion carving in some famous western historic relies is a direct way to understand the different culture connotations and shape features between China and Western countries.
