Barrier-free service in Nagoya City＇s public libraries had started for several decades and has developed into a more mature stage. This paper expounds the concept of library＇ s barrier-free service, introduces the environment and service measures of the barrier-free service in Nagoya city＇s public libraries, and from the aspects of national policy, and service management, etc., probes into some inspirations of the barrier-free service of the public libraries in Nagoya City of Japan on us.
