The Comparison of the Shuoti in ZhanGuoce and HanFeizi

《战国策》与《韩非子·说林篇》及《储说篇》中的篇章都可以称之为"说",在许多方面表现出较大的相似性,如其在体制上大多由"记事"、"记言"和"评议"三要素构成;在内容上多与政治相关;笔法上叙事客观,不寓褒贬,不抒情感;在语言方面,大多使用散句,辞语浅显明白;在审美上以"趣"为美。而在另一方面,两者在源流、体制、内容、主旨、影响上存在着明显的不同之处。它们一方面共同体现了先秦叙说文的总体特征,一方面又充分展示了先秦叙说文的丰富多样性。

All of the articles in ZhanGuoce and Shuolin or Chushuo in HanFeizi can be called ＂Shuo＂,and show much similarity in many ways.For example,most of their system of organization is organized by ＂record of events＂,＂record of utterance＂ and ＂evaluation＂;most of their contents are related with policy;the narrative writing objective,not containing the praise or blame,not showing any emotion;their language,mostly used scattered sentences,plain and clear;regard ＂interesting＂ as beauty in aesthetic.Simultaneously,both of them show many differences in origin,system,contents,purpose,influence.On one hand they reflected the general characteristics of text of the Xianqin narrates,on the one hand,both of them fully displayed the rich diversity of the Xianqin narrates.
