功能翻译理论指导下的旅游资料的英译:问题与对策

C-E Translation of Tourist Materials in the Light of the Functional Translation Theory: Problems and Suggestions

本文旨在从功能翻译理论的视角来探讨武当山旅游资料的英译问题与对策。通过分析武当山旅游资料英译中存在的两种主要问题,笔者指出要提高旅游资料英译的质量,一方面公众应对翻译工作和译者给予更多的关注,另一方面译者也应提高自身的素养和综合能力。

This paper aims to explore the C-E translation of tourist materials in the light of the Functional Translation Theory,with special reference to Wudang tourist materials.By analyzing two major problems in the C-E translation of Wudang tourist materials,the author concludes that on the one hand,more public attention should be paid to translation and translators,on the other hand translators should also improve their comprehensive competence.
