The Impact of FDI on the Increase of Employment

外商直接投资影响我国就业增长,但在不同阶段影响程度将有所不同。但与区域特征结合后,外商直接投资对就业增长的影响更为显著。经济增长、工资水平、工业化程度是影响我国就业增长最重要的三个因素,且在我国加入WTO前后,影响程度有所改变。为了进一步促进就业增长,我国需适时和适度调整外资利用政策。

Foreign Direct Investment （FDI） influences employment in China, but at different stages, the degree of its impact varies. Integrated with the regional characteristics, FDI has a significant impact on the increase of employment. The economic growth, wage levels and industrialization degree are the three im- portant factors which influence the increase of China＇s employment,and the degree of the influence changes after China＇s accession to the WTO. In order to further increase the employment opportunities, the govern- ment policies of foreign investment utilization should be adjusted in a timely and proper way.
