摘要
高职新生中相当普遍地存在着英语学习困难,学习困境有主观和客观两方面的原因。其中,主观原因有高职新生在英语学习中的动机削弱和动机缺失、"我不学"的学习态度和"不会学"的学习策略;客观原因包括:高职新生英语学习中断时间过长、学习环境改变增加了自律的要求、教学方式改变带来适应不良、学时缩短等不利因素。教学管理部门应该利用各种形式加强入学教育,使新生提前了解大学英语学习特点。同时提供师生交流、生生交流和校级交流的机会,从而使新生有求助的途径。
English Learning Difficulties occur widely for Polytechnic Fresh Men behind which there are subjective and objective reasons. The subjective reasons include demotivation or motivation deletion, passive learning attitude and inappropriate learning strategies. Among the objective reasons, there are long-time suspension in English learning, demand for increasing self-discipline from free learning environment, maladjustment to teaching methods and class hour lack. Teaching administrative department should provide entrance education to ensure that fresh men know the college English characteristic in advance. Meanwhile, more helps should be timely offered to fresh men by providing more communications between teachers and fresh men, belwecn upperclassmen and fresh men, and between different polytechnics.
