摘要 基于内容的教学(CBI)是一种把语言教学与学科知识结合起来的教学理念;而专业英语(ESP)教学是一种渗透大量专业知识的语言教学形式。通过介绍CBI教学路径的理论基础及特点,分析在特殊用途英语培养模式中的优势及问题,探讨CBI教学路径对ESP教学的启示。 Content-based Instruction(CBI) is a teaching approach of combining language and subjects.English for Special Purpose(ESP) is a language teaching form with abundance of specialized knowledge.This paper aims to explore the teaching approach of CBI and the inspiration of ESP through analyzing the theoretical basis and features of CBI and discussing the advantages and problems in ESP.
