Perceptual Learning Style and English Listening Achievements

近些年来,作为学习者个体差异的一个重要范畴,学习风格受到了研究者们越来越多的关注与重视,其中,感知学习风格对二语习得有着不可忽视的影响。语言学习从"听"开始,听是语言习得最重要的途径,然而农科院校学生听力水平薄弱确是普遍存在的现象。从感知学习风格的角度入手,探讨了学生的学习风格偏好及其与听力成绩的关系,提出教师应了解并帮助学生了解学习风格偏好,从而提高教学效率及学习效率。

In recent years, as an important category of individual learner differences, learning style is being paid more and more attention by researchers, among which perceptual learning style has a significant influence on second language acquisition. Language acquisition starts from listening, which is the most important approach of language learning. However, poor English listening is a common phenomenon among undergraduates in agricultural universities. This paper takes perceptual learning style as the main focus, discusses the correlations between perceptual learning style and listening achievements, and suggests that both teachers and students should understand perceptual learning style preferences to improve teaching and learning efficiency.
