Relationship Between Financial Function and Financial Development Revealed from Modern Financial History

从中国近代金融史实的角度观察、分析了金融功能的有效供给与需求,给出了金融功能有效供给和有效需求的一般含义,揭示了金融功能与金融发展的内在关系,明确指出了正是随着经济的发展导致出现了对金融功能的不断需求,而有效金融功能的不断供给不仅满足了经济发展由农业经济向商业经济再到工业经济的过渡,同时也使自身由初级金融发展到现代金融。因此,金融功能有效供给与有效需求的不断均衡是金融发展的标志,对均衡的追求是金融发展的永恒动力。

Viewing from an angle of modern China＇s financial historical facts, this paper analyzes the effective supply and demand of financial functions. It gives the general meaning of the effective supply and demand for financial functions, and reveals the inner relationship of the financial function and development. It illustrates that market constantly demands on the financial function with the development of economy. The continuous supply of the effective financial function not only meets the transition of economic development from agricultural economy to industrial economy, and then to business, but also makes them develop from the primary finance to the modern finance. Therefore, the constant equilibrium of the effec- tive supply and demand of the financial functions is a symbol of financial development, and the pursuit of equilibrium is the eternal power of financial development.
