Practical Exploration on the Translating and Proofreading of English Abstracts of Academic Papers

学术论文摘要英语译文的质量对参与国际学术交流至关重要。许多论文作者提供的英文摘要存在用词不当、使用中式英语、句法不符合英语表达〉--j惯、信息含糊不清、逻辑关系混乱等问题。应参照相应的翻译标准和方法，从文化差异、语言形式和文本格式等三个方面对论文摘要的英文翻译和校对的实践进．行探讨。

The quality of English translation of abstracts of academic papers is essential in international academic exchanges. Problems exist in English abstracts provided by many authors, such as the misuse of words, the use of Chinglish, the syntax not meeting the idiomatic English usage, the information not clearly expressed, logical relationship being confused. Practice of translating and proofreading of the abstracts should be explored, according to appropriate standards and methods, from three aspects as cultural differences, language form and text format.
