摘要
研究结果表明 ,高功率密度强脉冲电子束作用于金属表面可产生骤熔急冷和冲击压缩过程 ,在金属表面注入区形成微米量级硬化层 ,使金属表面的物化性能得以改善。
Similar to surface modification of metals and alloy by laser beams,interaction of pseudospark electron beams with high power density(>10\+9 W·cm\+\{-2\})with metallic targets leaded to processes of rapid melting and solidification and shock compression,micrometer thick layers with enhancement of hardness were formed after irradiation treatment.As example,65Mn steel samples were irradiated by the pseudospark electron beams.The physico\|chemical behavious have been improved.It is expected that the pseudospark electron beam treatment could be a new approach for materials modification.
