In view of Talmy's Fictive Motion Theory, this research aims at a cognitive analysis about fictive motion of mental activity in Chinese and English. The semantic conceptualization for fictive motion of mental activity is a dynamic cognitive processing and its process can be understood as a dynamic metaphorical mechanism with a mapping from the factive representation onto the static mental representation. Fauconnier's Conceptual Blending Theory helps to integrate the static "heart" with the motion events. Fictive motion of "heart" is constructed into three categories: cognition, emotion, and volition. It is found that Chinese and English languages have the dynamic tendency to represent mental activity.
