Based on the analysis of the background of US military strategy,the objectives of US military TWV （tactic wheeled vehicle ）strategy is concluded, then the development strategy of light, medium, heavy strategy and mine resistant ambush protected are expatiated. The challenges and risks of tactic wheeled vehicle are summarized. The true intentions of tactic wheeled vehicle strategy is to ensure that army will procure and manage a modern TWV fleet with the quality and quantity required to ensure that soldiers are equipped with the right vehicles and the right capabilities at the right time.
