Aim\ To analyze laminated piezoelectric plate and shell by finite element method(FEM). Methods\ The theoretic basis for FEM analysis of piezoelectric laminated plate and shell and recent research are summarized. Results\ Given variational formula of piezoelectric structure, the dynamic formula and programme can be obtained. Conclusion\ FEM is a powerful method to analyze piezoelectric laminated plate and shell, with which deeper research could be done.
