Coming back to Mortal,Focus on Health: A Discussion on the Study ofHistory of Chinese Medicine in New Century

本世纪以来,被视为新史学一部分的中国医疗史研究虽然取得了很大的进展,但在正当性、研究理念和方法等诸多方面,亦存在着诸多亟须解决的问题。为此,本文拟从国际史学发展的趋向出发,立足国内的实际情形,对这一研究的进一步开展提出自己的思考。本文认为,若能融通社会文化史和日常生活史研究,从社会文化史和日常生活史的双重角度出发来探究中国历史上的生命与健康,对于未来中国医疗史的研究来说,应不失为一条可行的路径。

The study of the history of Chinese medicine, which is regarded as a part of new history, has developed rapidly in the new century; However, it still has much to be desired in aspects like legitimacy, ideas and methodology of research. Starting from international tends of the development of history and based on the domestic reality, the author would come up with his own thoughts on the development of this research.
