王夫之一生与南岳有着不解之缘。《莲峰志》是王夫之为南岳所写的山志,共五卷十二篇,二万二千七百六十多字。它是王夫之创作的唯一的一部山志,也是南岳七十二峰唯一的一部名峰专志,开南岳方志佳作之先河。此书对于南岳历史文化的价值,对王夫之研究的价值,都有着重要的意义。

Wang Fu-zhi＇s life has indissoluble bond with the Nanyue Mountain.Lianfengzhi is a mountain topography for Nanyue Mountain written by Wang Fu-zhi.There are 12 pieces of articles in 5 volumes and more than 22,760 characters.It is the only mountain topography written by Wang Fu-zhi and also the only special records for 72 peaks of Nanyue Mountain.It is a pioneer for topography about Nanyue Mountain.The book has great important meaning for the value of historical culture of Nanyue and the value of Wang Chuan-shan＇s study.
