In the 17th century,United Kingdom was still under the domination of patriarchy.But due to the influence of Elizabeth＇s ruling and the noble women＇s participation in politics,the lower-middle-class women participated in politics actively.They took the way of petition to participate in politics directly for the problems of public affairs,economics,warfare,political crisis which they care about.Petition is the performance of lower-middle-class women participate in politics.It has certain significance of society and time.
