The improvement of students＇ learning interests and capabilities mainly relies on the teaching contents and methods.Traditional teaching way of the course named ＂Java ME programming＂ must be changed,which are very much behind the times,the simplex instructional mode,and the abuses of paying less attention to the interaction with too much importance attached to the teaching.Based on the characteristics and problems in the teaching process,a simple discussion on improvements of teaching methods and teaching contents to fully stimulate students’initiative and capability is made.
