Objective To investigate the resilience and influential factors of military drivers with traffic accident,so that the re- lated psychological intervention had scientific basis to follow for military drivers. Methods By random cluster sampling, 390 mili- tary drivers which included 322 drivers in traffic accident and 68 age--gender-- ,and education-matched norm controls were inves- tigated with Military Personnel Resilience Scale ,and the acquired data were analyzed by t--test ,logistic regression analysis. Results Compared with the norm controls, the total score of the scale (t =-3.77, P 〈 0. 001 ), problem solving score (t =-6. 95, P 0. 001 ),volition score(t=-3.75 ,P〈0. 001 ),optimism score(t =-4.82 ,P〈0. 001)in drivers with traffic accident were significant lower, there was no significant difference in family supports score and interpersonal interaction score (t = 0.85,2.23 ,P〉 0.05). Total score of scale in experimental group (t = 2.71, P〈0.01 ), optimism score (t = 2.33, P〈 0.05 )were higher than military norm. The Logistic regression analysis revealed that length of military service (β=0. 68, P 〈 0. 01), problem solving (β=-1.54, P〈0. 001 ) ,volition(β=-1. 51 ,P〈0. 001)of drivers were main influential factors in traffic accident. Conclusion Resilience of the mil- itary drivers can affect on driver error to a certain extent.
