Popularization of Marxism and the ideological and political education are intrinsically linked. In the background of Marxism popularization, there are such factors in the aspects of recognition, path, method and personnel that restrict the effec tiveness of ideological and political education. Therefore, things should be done to change the educational concept, to lay a solid theoretical foundation, to innovate educational means, and to improve the quality of the teaching staff.
