The institution of higher education is a knowledge-intensive organization. With the popular use of office automation system in colleges and universities, a large number of electronic documents have been produced, which supplement the traditional paper documents and turns to be another kind of service resources in college. Through analysis on the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of electronic document filing, the paper discusses the strategies from the perspective of knowledge management.
