科技期刊的中英文摘要编写规则研究

Principles of Writing and Compiling Chinese and English Abstractsin Science and Technology Periodicals

有不少的自然科学论文摘要中，要么出现数学公式，要么缺乏独立性，不管怎么写都会违反摘要编写规则，这是由编写规则本身的缺陷所致．解决的办法是对编写规则进行修改．修改原则为：①不强求中英文摘要的统一．②中文摘要可不强调其独立性．这样修改符合科技论文本身的特性及大多数作者的意识和习惯；符合科技期刊本身的特点；也使编辑们所面临的问题迎刃而解了，是必要和可行的．

On the basis of a brief comment on the poor quality of the Chinese and English abstracts in many science and technology periodicals, the paper first ponts out that the poor guality results from the defecrs of the existing principles of wnting and compiling abstracts, and then suggests are amend ments to the principles.
