Cerda was one of the founders of modern urban planning, and if Barcelona is considered a paradigm of urban planning, this is largely thanks to his work. Modern Barcelona has grown under the guiding light of Cerda＇s project for the Eixample. It has been very influential in the renewal of Barcelona during the last few decades. Can this light be projected into the future？
