Study on the Design Method for New Countryside in Nanjiang Areas:Case Study of the New Countryside Design Guidelines for Shanghai Partner Assistance to Xinjiang Chu County

结合上海同济城市规划院援疆团队的实践工作,基于南疆地区的自然条件、地域风貌和民族习俗,研究当地村落、院落和民居的传统空间形态、建筑符号和传统技术,探讨一种适合于南疆地区新农村建设的设计原则和方法。

Based on the natural condition, regional appearances and ethnic customs in Nanjiang areas, Shanghai Tongji Urban Planning Institute Corps of partner assistance to Xinjiang makes study and design practice at the traditional space form, the architectural symbol and traditional techniques of local village, yard and folk houses. It explores the design principle and method, which could be suited to new countryside construction in Najiang areas.
