摘要
周抡园先生将传统绘画与现实生活有机结合,在传承中走向现实,是20世纪新中国新山水画产生与发展中的独特个案。20世纪50年代以来,一代艺术家们共同探索,开拓性地把目光转向现实生活,将时代之需和眼中所见相结合,形成了具有时代特点的新的表现形式和方法。在这样一个开创时代新风的集体意识中,周抡园先生积极发挥了个人作用,将京派绘画的传统与川中山水的独特景观结合在一起,鲜活地呈现出川中在生产建设中表现出的地域特色。其绘画补充丰富了这一时期美术史的面貌,在新山水画中具有独特的价值。周抡园先生的艺术史价值更是一个时代完整性中不可或缺的部分。
A unique artist in the emergence and development of 20th-century Chinese neo-landscape painting, Zhou Lunyuan has continued the tradition and brings the art closer to reality by successfully combining traditional painting with everyday life. Since the 1950s, a generation of reality-inspired artists has been exploring new frontiers - they pioneered new forms and methods of expression that answered the call of a new era and at the same time depicted the real life in their eyes. Along with such an epoch-making collective consciousness, Zhou played his role by blending traditions of Beijing School and the unusual landscape in central Sichuan. He reveals in a lively way the strong local flavour of production and construction activities in central Sichuan. Zhou' s paintings have enriched contemporary art history and strike with special value for neo-landscape painting. In addition, his importance to the art history is an integral part of his time.
