HIERARCHICAL STRUCTURED DESIGN (HSD) METHOD FOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

本文详细讨论了软件开发的分层结构设计方法(HSD)。该方法保持了传统的结构设计(SD)方法的特点,同时又具有支持抽象、信息隐藏以及逐步求精等软件工程设计原则的功能。西北大学计算机科学系研制的“软件分析与设计支持环境DSE”支持这种设计方法。

In this paper,a Hierarchical Structured Dosign method (HSD) isdiscussed.The HSD method not only retains the fcatures of the tranditional struc-tured design method but also has functions to support the design principles of softwaroengineering,such as abstract,information hiding and stopwise refinement etc.TheDesign Structure Editor (DSE) developed by Northwestern University is alsointroduced briefly,it supports the HSD method quite well.
