由于与公共图书馆的差异,高校图书馆要求学科馆员既具有学科专业知识又具备图书情报专业知识,能够满足高职院校教学科研中专业化、深层次服务。这就要求学科馆员从专业知识到业务知识,从信息意识到信息收集、处理能力,从外语能力到计算机能力,乃至创新能力和学习能力,全方位提高自己的能力,适应学科馆员工作岗位的素质要求。

With the difference of the public library, college hbrary requires that subject librarian should have both of professional subject knowledge and library information knowledge. Subject librarian can satisfy the teaching and scientific research in higher vocational colleges in professional, deep service. This requires that the subject librarian should all-round improve their ability to adapt to the quality requirements for the job from professional knowledge to basic knowledge, from the information consciousness to information collection, processing capacity, from foreign language ability to computer ability, and innovation ability and learning abihty.
