this和that汉译的篇章翻译对等研究

The Text Translation Equivalence Study on the Chinese Translation of Thisand That

本文尝试运用对比语言学的理论和方法研究英、汉语篇翻译手段。采用定量分析的方法,对英语的汉语翻译进行定量研究和描述性对比分析,重点研究了作为英语指示代词this和that(含复数these和those)与汉语"这""那"在篇章中的翻译对等情况以及that作为关系代词和关系连词时的汉译情况。在指示指称衔接方面对比了英语的"this、that"和与其基本对应的汉语指示指称"这、那"之间的翻译对等。在that作关系代词和关系连词时的汉译作了分析比较。研究发现this主要翻译对等词为"这",that作指示代词的主要翻译对等词为"那"和"这",作关系代词的主要翻译对等词为"那"和"这"。

This paper tries to apply contrastive linguistic theory and method to do the research of text translation equivalence study on the English-Chinese translation.By using the quantitative analysis method,the Chinese translation of English are analyzed by both quantitative research and descriptive contrast,which is mainly studied as an English instruction pronouns for this and that（including plural form these and those） and the translation equivalence condition of Chinese＇这＇＇那＇when they used as relation pronouns and relationship conjunctions.In the aspect of instructions reference cohesion,the translation equivalence of ＇this、that＇ and ＇这、那＇ are analyzed and compared.While ＇that＇ used as relation pronoun and relation conjunction,it is analyzed on the Chinese translation.The study shows that the main translation equivalence word for ＂this＂ is the Chinese word ＇这＇,and the main translation equivalence words for ＂that＂ are the Chinese words ＇那、这＇ when ＇that＇ is used as both instruction pronoun and relation pronoun.
