The treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular disease has been increasingly paid attention to and TCM treatment is an important part.The disease can be considered as Zhongfeng in TCM.Analyzing the experience of the ancient physicians and combined the modern life,it is believed that improper diet is the main caused of ischemic cerebrovascular disease.Thus,syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis blocking meridians is common.Furthermore,the theory of blood stasis being the pathogenesis of ischemic cerebrovascular disease has been widely accepted.According to the clinical characteristics of ischemic cerebrovascular disease in elderly patients and combined with the experience of ancient physicians,Shuxue Tongmai capsule was formed according to the theory of phlegm and blood stasis.Through experiment and clinical observation,it has obtained good effect.This article is to explore the theory of Shuxue Tongmai capsule.
