新疆引进外商直接投资技术溢出效应研究

Research on Foreign Direct Investment in Technology Spillover Effects in Xinjiang

随着知识经济的日益发展,科学技术进一步成为一个地区或乃至一个国家经济发展的决定性因素之一。新疆作为一个欠发达地区,自身技术创新能力有限,因此应利用后发优势促进生产技术水平的提高。外商直接投资作为外来技术溢出的主要途径对新疆科技进步如何影响,是值得进一步研究和探讨的课题。采用1990—2010年新疆引进外商直接投资与技术进步的时间序列数据进行实证分析,得出结论是:外商直接投资通过示范效应、关联效应与职工培训效应等渠道,对新疆科技发展起到推进作用;与此同时,对社会经济增长、就业率提高的作用也不能忽视。

With the growing knowledge economy, science and technology becomes a decisive factor to a region or a country g economic development. As a less developed region, the technological innovation capability in Xinjiang is limited, so it depends on the use of the advantage to promote the improvement of production technology. Foreign direct investment as the main way of foreign technology spillovers, deserves further study and discussion on how it impacts the scientific and techno- logical progress in Xinjiang. The paper introduces foreign direct investment and technological progress of time - series data in Xinjiang from 1990 to 2010 and conducts an empirical analysis. It concludes that the demonstration effect of foreign di- rect investment, staff training effect associated with the effect of other channels plays a role in promoting technological de- velopment in Xinjiang at the same time. The role of the socio - economic growth, employment rate can not be ignored.
