江苏省自然资源匮乏,人口密度大,然而,却是经济大省,其经济结构、经济增长速度与经济增长方式都较其他省分有优势,显而易见,江苏省具有科技优势。江苏省的科技优势得益于长期重视科技社团的发展,重视科技人才的培养,充分发挥了科技社团在科普教育、提高全民的科学素质、广泛开展学术交流、激发创造活力,推进自主创新等方面的重要作用。政府对科技社团要加强领导,细化管理,不采取"一刀切"的政策,对弱势科技社团加大扶持力度,对强势科技社团"三脱钩",推向市场去发展。从宏观看,江苏省的科技社团发展得比较好,能充分发挥知识密集、人才荟萃的优势,坚持为经济社会发展服务,为提高全民科学素质服务,为科技工作者服务的定位,因此为江苏省经济社会又快又好发展做出了应有的贡献。
