余华是20世纪80年代中后期先锋大潮中的后来者,也是提高先锋叙事品质的重要作家之一。《河边的错误》是其先锋写作的代表作之一,这部小说把侦探小说与写实小说杂糅在一起,是一种杂交性叙事,围绕着疯子杀人的恶性事件,余华告诉我们:人是一种盲目而凶恶的动物,社会文明秩序只是一种表面的东西,在根本上却是混乱不堪的存在。
