试论民国时期的日本研究——以《日本评论》为例

Study on Japan During Period of the Republic of China

中国的日本研究可谓历史久远,截至民国时期,中国历史上曾经有过三次研究日本的高潮,每一次研究高潮都是在中日关系紧张的历史背景之下出现的。民国时期曾出现了第三次研究日本的高潮,此时期恰好也是中国期刊大发展的时期,在日本帝国主义侵略中国的危难之际,一批"知日派"知识分子以极大的热情投入到了日本研究的工作之中,因此这个时期出版了为数不少的专事研究日本的期刊,《日本评论》即为其中优秀代表之一。

The study on Japan has a long history. There had been three climaxes of its study by the time of the Republic of China and each climax appeared due to the strained Sino-Japanese relations. The third climax of the study on Japan happened to be the flourishing period of journals in China. Under the aggression by Japanese Imperialism, a group of intellectuals with knowledge of Japan devoted themselves to studying Japan. Therefore, a number of journals specialized in the study on Japan occurred during this period, among which there was one of the most important journals--Comment on Japan.
