美籍华人女作家於梨华的作品始终关注海外华人这一独特群体,她的作品主要描写了她这一代负笈海外的留学生的生存状态和精神痛苦,映现出那个时代留学学人的某种共同经历和情感,尤其是他们漂泊于异域的困苦生活及在异域困境中所经受的精神寂寞与心灵痛楚。
As a Chinese American authoress,Yu Lihua＇s works always focus on overseas Chinese.She described the living state and spiritual suffering of overseas students in her works,which also reflect the common experiences and emotions of her generation overseas students,especially their living dilemma and spiritual suffering when they drifted abroad.
