“Theoretical Self-consciousness” and Chinese-Style Social Sciences—Taking Chinese Sociology for Example

今天,当理论自觉和理论自信的问题再一次尖锐地摆在了中国社会科学理论界和学术界面前时,我们也应该感到了一个重大而紧迫的时代课题正等待着我们去破解。在此我们将以社会学为例,从理论自觉与中国风格的社会科学的内在联系入手,并从必由之路、必要条件、必具前提、必备要素、必然要求等五个方面,去充分说明理论自觉对中国社会科学重要性和迫切性。我们认为,只有把理论自觉落实到中国社会科学研究之中,中国社会科学才会结出中国特色的丰硕之果。

Today the issue of theoretical self-consciousness and theoretical self-confidence is con-fronting the Chinese academic world of social sciences again, which can be found a significant and urgent problem of the time awaiting the solution. For this reason, starting with the relationship between theoretical self-consciousness and Chinese-style social sciences, the author elaborates on the importance and urgency of theoretical self-consciousness to Chinese social sciences in five respects. The author maintains that only if theoretical self-consciousness is fulfilled throughout the research work will Chinese social sciences make substantial achievements of Chinese characteristics.
