This paper explained the research contents and the main function of the sports competitive intelligence,analyzed the task and purpose of the sports competitive intelligence research in university,and the necessity of carrying out sports intelligence research work in higher sports universities,concluded the application of sports competitive intelligence science in university competitive sports.
