摘要 系统生物学是以实验、系统论和计算方法整合研究为特征,研究生物系统组成成分及其相互关系的学科.而系统生物医学是系统生物学在医学应用研究领域的分支.它以临床医学问题为导向、临床样本为研究对象.采用组学生物技术、生物信息学建模和分子生物学技术等集成化、系统化与高通量化等研究策略。其技术手段涵盖基因组学、表观基因组、转录组学、蛋白质组学和代谢组学等不同层次的全局性研究方法,并辅以影像学、分子生物学、生物分子定量分析等经典还原性分析方式。 This article provides an introduction to metabolomics technology as well as its applications in the clinical and translational biomedical research. The advancement of metabolomics in clinical applications is instrumental in driving the development of a new medical research paradigm, the systems biomedicine.
