张培基《英汉翻译教程》勘误与修订分析

On Revision and Collation of the Two Editions of "A Course in English-Chinese Translation"

张培基等编著的《英汉翻译教程》自1980年9月第一版出版以来,发行量巨大,影响深远。二十多年来,众多学者撰文提出修改意见,建议早日修订,但是该教程第一版一版再版,直至2008年从未修订。2008年6月,《英汉翻译教程》第二版终于面世,接着修订版于2009年3月发行,这两个版本对第一版中一些错误进行了勘误与修正,而修订版对第二版又有修正。但是第二版与修订版仍有不少应该修订之处。

The Second edition of Zhang Peiji＇s ＂A Course in English-Chinese Translation＂made its début with high expectations from translation teachers and scholars in June 2008,28 years after first edition＇s publication.The revised edition was published in March 2009.Nevertheless,there are still some mistranslations in the second edition and the revised edition.Since the course has been the largest circulated translation textbook in China for the past three decades,the mistranslations in the two editions should be rectified as soon as possible.
