焦炭塔使用过程中,从室温到高温周期性运行,承受循环载荷,温差应力。常见失效模式主要有:焦炭塔裙座焊缝开裂、堵焦阀焊缝及周围开裂、焦炭塔塔体焊缝内表面开裂;塔体鼓凸、偏斜;塔体材料内部组织出现球化、石墨化现象;下塔盖变形发生泄漏等。
