On the Application of Comparative Literature Research Methods in May Fourth Period

五四时期的比较文学在研究方法的应用上是多元的,既有法国学派的影响研究,又有美国学派的平行研究,更有中国学派的阐发研究,成就斐然。尽管中国比较文学拓荒者在方法的应用上还有些不太娴熟,但为后来的比较文学研究提供了一种方法论典范,促进了中国文学研究的学术转型。

The application of Comparative Literature research methods was multivariant and suggested elegant achievements in May Fourth Period, which included the French School＇ s Influence Research, the American School＇ s Parallel Research and the Chinese School＇ s Elucidate Research. Although the Chinese Comparative Literature pioneers were not very skillful at the application of these methods, it provided a new methodology model for the later Comparative Literature research, and promoted the ac- ademic transformation of Chinese literature research.
