摘要
长期以来,我国的大学英语教学中存在对语言能力重视多,对文化素养重视少;语言知识输入多,文化知识输入少;学生的语言能力与跨文化交际能力之间相关性较低等问题。为此,大学英语教学应通过多种手段加强英语文化知识的引导,在培养学生语言能力的同时培养其文化意识,提高学生跨文化交际能力和实际运用语言的能力。
For long in college English teaching, there exist problems like overemphasizing the impart- ment of the basic English knowledge while overlooking the effective introduction of English language culture and the cultivation of students' intercultural awareness. There is poor match between students' language competence and their intercultural communication competence. This article underlines the necessity of strengthening acculturation in English teaching through various means to cultivate the students' cultural awareness and thus improve their pragmatic competence as well as the cross- culture communicative competence.
