The unique significance of Pakistan, as a coerced partner in US post-9/11 anti-terror strategy, became outstanding as Washington was determined to launch war against the Taliban-controlled Afghanistan. Throughout the ongoing military operation and reconstruction in Afghanistan, Pakistan has proved itself too important to be ignored because of its accessible geography, the prolonged Islamabad-Kabul linkage, available intelligence, and logistical and military assets for helping American significant military operation.
