The chemical industry faces enormous opportunities for development. This paper has analyzed the development background of the chemical industry and its demand for highly - skilled personnel, on the basis of which the paper has explored the training model for highly - skilled personnel from the aspects of target system, content and method system and security system. The target system includes training objectives and specifications, the content and method system consists of curriculum, course content, teaching methods and means of cultivation, and the security system comprises teachers and the training base. A detailed discussion on these issues has been made here and practice shows that this model is fairly effective for the cultivation of highly - skilled personnel in the chemical industry.
