Application of RESINE Active Power Filter Device in Frequency Conversion System on the Ocean Oil Platform

An application case of RESINE active power filter （APF） device used in frequency conversion system on the ocean oil platform was introduced, the main electric parameters was compared from before using it to after using it. When the RESINE APF run, the practical peration result showed that the current waves was improved, the total harmonic voltage （or current） distortion in percent was reduced, the power factor was raised, and the transformer or generator could increase its load ability.
